We have some exciting news! It is no secret that WFA is always ‘on the move’ – but this time we mean it literally!
At the end of August, after 12 years, we are moving to a new location just a couple blocks away in the Logan Building on Union and 5th. Our lease was about to be up, and we had to take advantage of the commercial real estate market! It’s a great deal that gives us a little more space for our growing staff team!
Here is the thing – we need your help! You know it is our mission to give as much money out into the community as possible, which means we have never invested in ourselves! The furniture we have at WFA is literally falling apart. So we are appealing to our amazing fan base for help!
As you know, the cost of moving always racks up. We have a variety of needs – desks, chairs, shelving, white boards, conference room furnishings, filing cabinets, printing new letterhead with our new address – you name it! Please consider being one of our moving angels by becoming a WFA MOVER AND SHAKER!
When you become a MOVER AND SHAKER at any of these levels below we will:
- Send you photos of the WFA team gathered around what we were able to purchase with your gift! We might even wear boas in the photo!
- Give you VIP treatment at our Open House!
- Acknowledge you amongst all the MOVERS AND SHAKERS in our Annual Report and at our AMPLIFY! breakfast this fall!
- Love you forever, and think about you each time we sit at our desk to change the world!

What kind of Mover and Shaker are you?
Master of Meetings: $10,000
Our new conference room is a lovely space with a glass wall. But its shape calls for a new table and chairs. We’re looking forward to furnishing the space where much of the WFA magic happens—Art of Dining auction brainstorms, staff meetings, and grant recommendations!!
Chair of Cubicles: $7,500
One of the best things about our new office is its open space plan. There’s a big bright area in the middle that will house an informal meeting space and some cubicle enclosed offices. No cubicle farm for us—just a few nice new walls to put those desks in!
Director of Desks: $5,000
Piles? Of paper? On desks? No one at WFA would ever stand for that in their office! But just in case that should happen, our team needs some new desk real estate for all of those important documents!
Chief Ergonomical Officer: $3,000
Anyone who visits the current WFA office might experience the surprise of sitting in a chair that spontaneously rips or pops off its arm. It’s time to upgrade to comfortable, attractive, surprise-free chairs for our team!
Manager of First Impressions: $1,500
When you visit us at our new offices, you’ll walk into a reception area that would become even lovelier with some upholstered chairs and a new table. Help us welcome our guests to our new space!
Chill Master: $500
Our office comes with a fresh new kitchen buildout, which includes everything we need for lunch and meeting prep…except a refrigerator! Perhaps you’d like to help us get the appliance that will make the whole thing work?!?
Captain of Correspondence: $250
You’re probably familiar with the wonderful solicitation letters we send to our donors. We’re looking at using much more of that letterhead, but we need to update it and reprint it with our new address!
Networking Diva: $125
Who doesn’t love meeting a fabulous new person and handing out a crisp business card? WFA staff do this all the time, and need newly printed business cards with our new building’s address!
