Much of the work of the Women's Funding Alliance is focused on providing funding to agencies and individuals. The funds that the Alliance provides are distributed in the following ways:

Federation Funding
As a federation of agencies serving women and girls, the Women's Funding Alliance offers ongoing support to 21 affiliated agencies through workplace giving campaigns. Many of these organizations might not otherwise have access to such sustained funding. By raising and distributing funds to these affiliated organizations, the Alliance helps more than 10,000 women and children each year through crisis lines, educational programs, support groups, advocacy and training.

Grantmaking Program
The Women's Funding Alliance granting program supports agencies that promote positive social change for women and girls. Grants are awarded once a year to support specific programs and general operating expenses.

Donor Circles
The Women's Funding Alliance's Ripple Fund has awarded $45,000 to six agencies since 2004. Grants are awarded once a year to support specific programs and general operating expenses.
