Women's Funding Alliance

Justice, health and opportunity for women and girls.

Community Response

Community Response grants address key issue areas identified by WFA's study, A Closer Look, which examined the realities for women and girls living in the Puget Sound region. Through the Community Response Fund, non-profit organizations serving women and girls in this region may apply for general operating or project funds under any one of these areas: economic opportunity, education, health and well-being, leadership and giving, or safety and violence. Grants given from this fund range up to $10,000.

Letters of inquiry for the 2008 grant cycle were due in September and grants will be awarded in March 2009. Dates for the next Community Response grant cycle have yet to be determined, but will likely begin in the fall of 2009. The criteria and letter of inquiry application will be posted on our web site at that time.
