2010 Auctioneer and Emcee:
Thank you to our auctioneer John Curley and emcee Lee Callahan for lending their voices and inspired enthusiasm in support of women and girls.

John Curley
John is so glad to be back with us this year. "Of all the auctions I did and I did 95 this year, you guys were my favorite." says Curley. "It was a very sad night for me last year, and you really made me feel welcomed." Many in the room didn't realize that as John was running around auctioning off our items, his last show on Evening Magazine was coming to an end. But as the saying goes one door closes and the another one opens. And for John, the opened door lead right into politics. John was elected in to the Sammamish City Council with the help of WFA supporter, Cathy Allen from the Connections Group. An auctioneer and a city council member, now there's a fast talking politician. |

Lee Callahan
Lee is a true western Washingtonian who was born at the Naval Air Station in Oak Harbor. At the age of three-months, Lee left home to travel the world with Captain and Mrs. Ralph and Dallas Huth.
She’s been living in Seattle since 1983 (except for a three-year detour in Honolulu). Lee's had about 32 jobs including boat refinishing (she owned her own Seattle-based company), and as a children's theatre puppeteer. You may have heard Lee on Seattle's airwaves at KOMO-AM and The Mountain with John Fisher and Mike West. Lee is now the morning news anchor at Seattle's Progressive Talk - AM1090, the female voice of JACK FM, and traffic maven for KZOK's morning show. Her hour-long interview show can be heard on Sundays on all three stations. Lee lives in West Seattle with her spouse. |
