The Alliance's donor circles are a new, engaging way to practice philanthropy.  Following the age-old tradition of shared giving and women’s giving circles, donors collectively pool their gifts and serve as grantmakers to fund specific projects and/or organizations. 

The Women’s Funding Alliance is committed to making this program a successful, educational experience for each donor circle member.  Members learn first-hand about issues affecting women and girls in our community, participate in the grantmaking process, more effectively and strategically expand their personal philanthropy, and extend WFA’s grantmaking capacity to more women’s and girls’ organizations. 

Given the amount of administrative resources necessary to create this special opportunity, a specific giving level is required for active participation.  

Donor Circle Membership: Donor Circle Members contribute a minimum of $5,000. They participate in meetings, site visits, and grantmaking decisions.
